Unstoppable
October 26, 2012 Darryl Carter, aka my design icon/boyfriend does it again. I'm telling you, he is unstoppable when it comes to great design. His distinct style with an understated palette makes this home in D.C. featured in the September issue of Architectural Digest another crowd pleaser. Can you tell I'm behind on my magazine reading again!?

I'm impatiently waiting for his new book to arrive on my doorstep!

Uhm your boyfriend, I don't think so. He is mine, he might not know it but he is!
I love everything he does, I wish he would do it for me (haha).
I love everything he does! My favorite room is the dining room with that great substantial table and the mix of seating - wow!!! I'd be soooo happy to live in this home!
He is pretty Brilliant! That bathroom is amazing. One of these days...
Thank you for the inspiration. And thank you for being you.
Happy weekend to you lovely lady.

Oh good I'm not the only one behind on my reading - it's coming out my ears. I did get a chance to read this article and thought it was so interesting - all of the details about the building's history and architectural details. Darryl is a master. I can't remember if it was this month or last month (maybe Elle Decor?) where he the townhome down in FL he designed for his parents is featured. That was interesting too. Hope you're having a good weekend Marianne!
Yes he is one talented man...love the dining room, how inviting and cozy and elegant!! Hope you are great Marianne!
Love his work! He is very talented.
Hello my love,
His look is soooo unmistakeable. Gorgeous and simple. You can breathe a little better in those spaces…it very much reminds me of your work too!
