Scenes From My Weekend
October 8, 2012 I hope everyone had an incredible weekend! We have had the most beautiful weather here, so unlike Seattle this time of year. The sun has been shining and everyone is loving it! I went out with some friends on Saturday and it was such a nice night to sit outside and have a glass of wine. The floral arrangements on the table were so simple yet so perfect!
It might have been 75 degrees outside, but that didn't stop me from indulging in my favorite fall drink at Starbucks! I'm telling you... the salted caramel hot chocolates are to die for! What are you waiting for?
I spent yesterday with my sister and we went to her local pumpkin patch along with my niece. I haven't been to a pumpkin patch in years! This is so much better than going to the local grocery store!
In no time at all the wheelbarrow was getting quite full. I thought I'd buy a pumpkin or two, but I ended up with six pumpkins for my house! Now I just have to figure out where I'm putting them all!

your weekend shaped up beautifully! we spent time at our favorite apple orchard and ate too many cinnamon sugary donuts. the american beauties tasted scrumptious too!

Sounds like you had a great weekend. I'm trying to wrap my head around fall, but it still feel like summer here.... Cant wait for the weather to change and I can go buy some pumpkins.
Marianne, there is so much beautiful here. I love the flower and the pumpkins, and I am trying the hot chocolate when I go in to the post office this morning!

What an unusual floral arrangement! The pumpkin patch looks great - you are smart to do that while the sun is still shining (ie before the mud begins). We are hoping to go this weekend but I may regret waiting! Too funny about your favorite drink - I didn't see this post until now - after we talked about how great those Fran's chocolates are. He-he. :)

I love this time of year...I keep walking by this house and they have gorgeous dahlias like this one...I just want to pick one so badly. And I can't even count how many of those salted caramel hot chocolates I've had...and I'm not even a Starbucks person. Or at least I wasn't until about a month ago.
