Change Is Good
November 26, 2012 It's only November 26th and I already feel behind the eight ball. Am I the only one who hasn't started decorating for Christmas? I think everyone I have talked to already has their tree up and decorations out. I typically don't start until the first weekend in December, but may get my act together this week. I've been thinking a lot about my Christmas tree this year and I've decided to make some changes. Change is good, right? I have always done a full size tree, but this year I'm going to do a couple of tabletop trees instead, one in the living room and one in the family room. I was inspried by Eddie & Jaithan's trees in the latest issue of Country Living. Love the wreaths in the windows, too! I'll be sure to share my decor when it's up!

Tabletop here too, because we will be at the beach. I love this one, Marianne.
Happy Monday.

I love the idea of table top trees, but my kids probably wouldn't go for it :)
Great idea.....I think I will do the same......some small trees and decorate the tables. I just didn't want to put up a big tree.
Charming picture....its very easy to be very intimidated by whats happening in blogland, but I don't think its the "norm" because my non blogging friends haven't done a thinng. I am kind of in the middle..have started doing some decor but my wreaths and tree will not go up for at least another week or so..and this is super early for me! I am very behind however in my gift buying..have a lot to do!
Love this idea!! My mom was saying she didn't want to put her big tree up, so I will forward this to her. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
I'm feeling so much better now. Not a Christmas decoration in sight over here, but hoping to get started this weekend. Love your idea of tabletop trees, but know I will have my traditional tree in the living room. Happy Tuesday!!
You're so sweet to post this! You're the inspiration for us! Love seeing the beginnings of holiday decor, too!

I am so happy to find this post! I am not really up for a big tree this year and we have the perfect table and window for a tabletop tree so that's what we're going to do. I never would have thought of this.
