Dreamy Darryl

It's probably no surprise that one of my all-time favorite designers is Darryl Carter.  I swear everything he does is pure perfection.  I admire his restrained style, love of pale neutrals and use of stunning antiques reupholstered in the most exquisite fabrics. The home he designed featured in the latest issue of Veranda is no exception. I'm sharing just a few of the images from the house.  I don't want to spoil it for you in case you haven't had a chance to read the article yet.  I seriously can't stop staring at it!

It's so lovely. I just really adore that first picture. A lot!

Gorgeous! I love the lighting in the kitchen and I wish I could spend an entire day sitting under that tree! So fun talking to you the other night! I hope you have a good day.

Yup...love it all! Adore the large black lamp contrasted against the gorge settee.

I agree... PURE PERFECTION!

I like the details on how the light over the island came to be.

*** Hi, Marianne!!!

Am a biiiiig fan of his & have always admired his stunningly understated spaces... ALOT!

H*O*W*E*V*E*R, as much I adore most everything he did here, I DO believe the COFFEE TABLE is VERY OUT OF SCALE..... (it might have been missed by many, who, like me, gets so excited to see his work that I tend to "rush through" the "FIRST LOOK")... if you look at it a second time, don't you, or any of the others viewing this, feel that way too (or is it ME?)???...

As always, enjoy your blog IMMENSELY!!
