White Done Right
June 13, 2012 There's nothing like a good dose of white to get me in the mood for summer. It's crisp, clean and classic. Who wouldn't want that? I know what many of you are thinking about it getting dirty. Actually, white is the easiest thing you can clean. Consider custom slipcovers for your upholstery pieces and gorgeous white bed linens. All you need is a little bleach when you wash them and they will keep looking new for years to come.
You simply can't wrong with white kitchen cabinets. It never goes out of style and will make your kitchen go from blah to beautiful in no time flat. This is one easy way to make your kitchen look like a million bucks!
How serene and peaceful is this bedroom!? Now this is white done right!
Entertaining outdoors? Hang a few white lanterns and throw on a white tablecloth for a chic party.

I would love to have my closet friends over for wine in that living room, cook them a big meal in the kitchen, then have a good night's rest in that GORGEOUS bedroom. That would be a perfect day. Gosh that bed is amazing... Will call ya later!
With five kids and a dog WHITE is the best!!! People are stunned when they come into our home for the first time. It is the easiest to keep clean, it's fresh , light and inviting. The best part is , I can recreate an entire room by switching out the accessories . My only advice is to keep white linen to windows rather than slipcovers because bleach makes white linen yellow. Great post as usual:)

So true Marianne. White is the easiest to keep clean and it's oh so fresh! It's a favorite of mine to use in a beach house. Gorgeous images, as usual. I am loving that tufted headboard; and, oh my... that darling puppy!

I'm a huge fan of white! Even when we had our pooch with muddy paws, slipcovers wash right out! What would you do,with any other type of upholstery? :)
So agree Marianne...white rocks! I love love white and never shy away from it, well maybe I did when my kids were two:) Its such a pleasing and soothing palette, in any style room. Love the examples and how cute is the little guy at the end!

That little bit of white at the end looks like my mom's pup. I love white to...it shows a lot of restraint...I do white...but always add a color or two...no restraint :)
That last image just made me create a new pinterest board....C U T E ! I love all white...I never tire of it and the great thing about white is that you can add a little color and change it up every season. I'm deciding on white paint for my new house (interior). Right now it's Dunn Edwards Whisper white, but I need to use Benjamin Moore paint...do you have a favorite white by BM?
