Cannon Beach

I spent last week in Cannon Beach, OR for our annual family vacation.  For the last several years we have spent our 4th of July here and we love the charming town, ocean breezes and walks on the beach.  It's the perfect place to unwind and unplug, although I didn't have much of a choice since cell phone service was pretty much non-existent!

Aren't the hanging baskets gorgeous?!  They must use a lot of Miracle Grow!

Charlotte loves to feel the breeze on her face.  Too cute on the beach chair!

Love this painted 'beach access' sign at our hotel.

Both dogs love to run on the beach.  Too bad there were other dogs around or I would have let them off their leashes.  The shadow makes them look like they have on two leashes, which is not the case.

The gorgeous sunsets enjoyed from our room.  Just beautiful!

See you next year, Cannon Beach!

There is't much that the sea air and salt water can't fix. Love that you got a chance to unwind from your hectic schedule.

Marianne, I went there last year. It is such a cute town. I am going to visit a friend the end of July in that neck of the woods. I am hoping we can go there again. We are always looking for fun things to do. Sounds like you had a great time.

What a wonderful vacation. We moved from Seattle to Atlanta about 12 years ago I so miss my trips to Cannon Beach. What a magical, relaxing and beautiful place.
I have yet to find East Coast ocean front that matches its beauty. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of the best parts of the west coast.

Wow! This looks like a darling town! Some day, I want to explore the northwest coastline! I think it's just the mild temps that really help the flowers, as much as the Miracle Grow! Your pooches are precious!
Cheers!,

Oh, Marianne-
The doggies are so adorable. I am looking forward to getting my little yorkie. I have really been sad without my Lady, but wanted to wait for a couple of months, so a month from now I will have my 3 lb baby.
Please pack me in our suitcase noes time you go here. I love the shingles and the flowers, and the quaint look of the city!
Happy Monday.

I love Cannon Beach - we have spent many a vacation there and it is so relaxing and quaint! Your dogs look so happy there...few things in life make me happier than seeing our dog running her little heart out in the sand anywhere in the world! Hope to see you soon - I think Mon is working on something. :)

Hi Marianne!
Oh that sweet Charlotte is so cute! Love how she loves the breeze.

This is the quaintest little beachside town. And, I had to smile, as I got myself some Miracle Gro this week....hoping my plants and herbs will really start to flourish.

Hope your week is off to a great start and just keeps getting better.

This place is lovely, and Im so glad you shared it with us! My family was from Medford, OR and I love it out there, but don't know too much about any town on the water.
It is so charming, and so are your furry family!
