Victoria

I have an upcoming trip planned to Victoria, B.C. next month that I'm really looking forward to.  We'll be staying at the lovely Fairmont Empress hotel and taking part in their famous afternoon tea.  I can hardly wait!  Here's where I need your help... does anyone have any other restaurant recommendations for me while I'm there?

Victoria is a lovely town...we went earlier this year for a night (our final destination was Tofino on the west coast of the island...incredible!) We ate a delicious funky little spot, below street level...packed with locals...Rebar Modern Food. It was vegetarian, but not one of those nothing but tofu spots. You'd never know the menu was vegetarian.

Don't know if you're going near that area but you could try Bon Rouge Bistro I ate there and I don't regret it :)

Camille's is a lovely restaurant in victoria. (http://www.camillesrestaurant.com/). My girlfriends and I were there in May for a 60th birthday celebration. The food was fantastic.
