Foolproof
January 9, 2013 If you follow me on Instagram {msimondesign}, you know I've been cooking up a storm lately from Ina's new book, Foolproof. I am proud to say that not only do I own every one of her amazing cookbooks, I have never once made anything from them I didn't like. Yes, they are all that good. If you want to wow your family or guests at your next dinner party, I highly recommend you picking up a copy for yourself!

Here are the recipes I've made so far. I loved them so much I'm ready to make them all again!
penne alla vecchia bettola...

easy tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons...

raspberry crumble bars...

What recipes have you made from Foolproof?

YUM. I got her latest cookbook for Christmas...I think I have them all, too. I want to try something from the latest for a little dinner party this Friday. I had the soup and grilled cheese at a friend's house already. You are right. She is great!
When can I come over for dinner?? Everything looks fabulous!
I have made both the tomato soup and penne. Amazing!
I need to get this book...the only one I don't have. I think I've made that pasta...is it Nick and Tony's? It's a favorite of ours and has been requested this weekend.
Pecan Sandies, my husband loved them.
Ina rocks my socks off! I have& use everyone of her cookbooks. She changed my life with oven bacon alone;)))
I am so enjoying this book too... my good friend gave me a signed one for Christmas. Love the spicy feta crostinis, and the raspberry bars and tomato soup is one of my all time faves...gotta love Ina!
I am in love with Ina and her books....She has saved me many times in the kitchen, When I die I am going to come back as Jeffrey!
Love it too. So far I've made the Scallop on Celery Root, Leek & Potato Puree - Delish, but will be trying it with less cream next time. Couscous with Peas & Mint, yum! Spicy Feta Crostini (was out of feta but my homemade ricotta worked). Roasted English Potatoes & pancetta was So So. And last but not least, Dukes Cosmopolitan - what's not to love -ha! I'm from Maryland and will be trying the Crab Strudels next. Happy Cooking!
They all look delicious! And Foolproof just says it all, doesn't it? I need this book! xo
Love this round up. I've made the tomato soup, penne pasta, and the cripsy mustard chicken.
The tomato soup and pasta are two fo my new faves. Love following you on IG!
Love her books and her recipes are always winners! You know, you kinda look like her...she could pass as your mother...
Marianne, I agree ♥♥♥ Ina. I actually got to meet her and talk to her at a book signing a couple of months ago. I did a post on it. It was a big highlight in my life. She is just as warm and charming in person as she is on TV. Are you watching her new set of shows. She is touring Calif!! Should be fun to watch.
Here is the link to my post. I got some picts of her, if you are interested.....

I love Ina, she can do no wrong in my book, I like to think I've loved Ina since before she went viral. I use all of her cookbooks regularly and am a faithful follower of her show on food network. I reserved my copy and waited in line for her to sign at Sur la table but, I think she phoned this one in. It's my least favorite and IMO she should slow the cookbook conveyor and make us wait for a really good next one.
