Victoria

I spent this last weekend exploring beautiful Victoria, B.C.  It's hard to believe it's only a 2.5 hour boat ride away and this was my very first visit.  Lucky for us, the weather was perfect and not too many tourists in town this time of year.  The weekend was action packed and we crammed as much into our days as possible. Some of the highlights included tea at the Empress Hotel, a tour of Craigdarroch Castle, the Royal BC Museum, a visit to the Parliament building, Fan Tan Alley (the narrowest street in Canada, you could touch both buildings), walks along the waterfront, an evening Ghost Walk and exploring local shops and restaurants. Sometimes long weekends are the best vacations.
