October 31, 2012 I finally got with the program and added my instagram feed to my sidebar. I know, I'm a little late to the party, but this girl has been busy! At least if I'm not able to post to the blog as often as I'd like, you can still see a little glimpse of what I'm up to via instagram.
October 26, 2012 Darryl Carter, aka my design icon/boyfriend does it again. I'm telling you, he is unstoppable when it comes to great design. His distinct style with an understated palette makes this home in D.C. featured in the September issue of Architectural Digest another crowd pleaser. Can you tell I'm behind on my magazine reading again!?
I'm impatiently waiting for his new book to arrive on my doorstep!

Not exactly sure where this week went, but I'm so glad it's the weekend. I had a busy week working on client projects that I'm really excited to share with you soon. On my agenda this weekend is some quality time with my lovely niece. We're going to go see Wicked tonight and I can hardly wait. Have you seen it? I was hoping to see it on my last trip to NYC, but wasn't able to make it to any shows that trip. So happy it's now playing in Seattle. Other than that, it's suppose to rain all weekend. It's absolutely pouring as I sit here typing this. That's fall in Seattle for you! I think I'll stay in, drink some espresso and watch movies. Sounds good to me! What do you have planned this weekend?
October 15, 2012 Now that our weather has really started to feel like fall the last few days, I've been thinking about a roaring fire in the fireplace. I personally love a wood burning fireplace and am lucky enough to have two of them in my house. There is something about hearing the crackle that I just love. While it's just not quite cold enough to light a fire, I can't help but look at some beautiful ways to stack the wood. I keep mine in a basket, but wish I had a spot like one of these to store it.
October 8, 2012 I hope everyone had an incredible weekend! We have had the most beautiful weather here, so unlike Seattle this time of year. The sun has been shining and everyone is loving it! I went out with some friends on Saturday and it was such a nice night to sit outside and have a glass of wine. The floral arrangements on the table were so simple yet so perfect!
It might have been 75 degrees outside, but that didn't stop me from indulging in my favorite fall drink at Starbucks! I'm telling you... the salted caramel hot chocolates are to die for! What are you waiting for?
I spent yesterday with my sister and we went to her local pumpkin patch along with my niece. I haven't been to a pumpkin patch in years! This is so much better than going to the local grocery store!
In no time at all the wheelbarrow was getting quite full. I thought I'd buy a pumpkin or two, but I ended up with six pumpkins for my house! Now I just have to figure out where I'm putting them all!
