Marianne is delighted to welcome women to Provence for an unforgettable week of beautiful places, memorable meals, and thoughtfully curated experiences. It’s an invitation to slow down, embrace the art of French living, and enjoy the simple pleasure of experiencing Provence in wonderful company.
This retreat is exclusively for Women 18+
Set among orchards and beautifully landscaped gardens just outside L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, La Bastide de Laurence is an exceptional private estate that becomes our home for the week. The beautifully restored Provençal bastide features eight ensuite bedrooms, gracious living spaces, a secluded courtyard, and a swimming pool surrounded by gardens, olive trees, lavender, and magnificent centuries-old plane trees.
Elegant yet wonderfully relaxed, it is the kind of place that invites you to settle in—slow mornings over coffee, quiet moments in the garden, afternoons by the pool, and evenings gathered around the table. More than simply a place to stay, the Bastide is an integral part of the retreat experience and a beautiful expression of life in the Luberon region of Provence.

Our days in Provence are thoughtfully curated with just the right balance of exploring, experiencing, and slowing down. We’ll wander some of the region’s most beautiful villages and markets, visit favorite antique dealers and local artisans, enjoy memorable lunches, and experience Provence through food, wine, flowers, and the people who call it home.
Along the way, there will be private experiences created especially for our group, leisurely time to shop and explore, and a day to simply enjoy the beauty of our Provençal home. Evenings bring us back together at the villa for wonderful meals prepared by our private chefs.
The full itinerary is intentionally kept as a bit of a surprise, leaving room for discovery, spontaneity, and a few special moments along the way.

Who will be there?
Our retreats welcome women (18+) who are curious about the world, appreciate beautiful surroundings, and value meaningful experiences. While many guests travel solo, you are equally welcome to register with a friend.
Each retreat typically hosts 8-10 guests, including Marianne.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit reserves your room, with the remaining balance due 90 days prior to the retreat start date.
Autopay enrollment is required to ensure we meet payment deadlines for our accommodations and service providers.
What isn't included?
There are a few expenses you’ll need to arrange separately:
Airfare and/or train travel to and from our destination, travel insurance, personal purchases and shopping, gratuities, and any meals, beverages, activities, or transportation you choose outside of the planned retreat itinerary.
Commonly Asked Questions
Is transportation included?
Once you've reached the retreat, private ground transportation is included for all scheduled excursions and experiences.
Any transportation you choose outside of the planned retreat itinerary are not included.
Will I have my own room?
We know you value your privacy, so rooms are priced and assigned as single occupancy by default.
Double occupancy is typically also available at a slightly reduced rate. When selecting this option, you'll be asked with whom you'd like to share. Each guest must complete their own registration form.
What if I need to cancel?
We earnestly encourage each guest to purchase their own travel insurance. Your policy may help you recover payments made, should something unexpected change your plans.
